Edinburgh International Science Festival

During the Easter holidays we took a day to do some of the Edinburgh Science Festival. We bought day passes to the City Art Centre which was filled with science stuff for children. Dominic was signed up for three workshops: one about digestion, one on animals and one on electricity. Robin did one on wind turbines. In addition the whole place was filled with lots of activities. We touched a real brain, drove robots, played with light, developed our own photos in a dark room and learned about coral reefs, among many other things! The workshops were fabulous. Dominic enjoyed going on a soft play designed as the digestive system (his new favourite word is oesophagus), and making a "piano" using salt dough and his own body as the circuit. I didn't take many pictures, but here are the few I did take.
