Dominic had fun spending time with his aunts and uncle - especially having staring competitions.

Fraser and I also took advantage of so many willing babysitters to have a trip to Hexham just the two of us. We really enjoyed a spot of baby-free time. It was slightly odd to be without Dominic though - I've gotten used to him pretty much being an extension of me. He had a whale of a time and didn't miss us at all!
The cottage where we were staying was on a farm and when we weren't out and about, it was nice to just hang out there. Dominic particularly liked the flowers in the little garden attached the cottage.
There was of course lots of animals around too - some of which came to visit us. Jess was quite friendly with the hens, but Dominic wasn't so convinced - he was very curious about them, but one gave him a peck on the cheek which was a bit of a shock for him! He liked the dogs that came to see us though and we had a visit from a hedgehog too.
